SAR 109T, which offers effective performance thanks to its high cyclic rate, also enables the use of all kinds of accessories that may be needed in the battlefield with its modular body structure designed according to NATO standards. SAR 109T, which operates with the straight blowback system, can fire approximately 900 rounds per minute while using 9x19 millimeter ammunition. A machine gun that can feed ammunition with a magazine with a capacity of 10-, 20-, or 30-round magazines has a dioptic (50 - 100 m), foldable and adjustable mechanical sight that enables fast aiming. Furthermore, the length-adjustable telescopic butt stock reduces felt recoil by transmitting the recoil directly to the shoulder with its linear structure. The SAR 109T, which is used actively by the Turkish Armed Forces, Gendarmerie General Command and General Directorate of Security in the field, also has a version with its carrying arm.
